octave-msh software package provides create and manage meshes for FE or FV solvers in Octave, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install octave-msh
octave-msh is installed in your system.
Make ensure the octave-msh package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep octave-msh *
You will get with octave-msh package name, version, architecture and description in a table
